The data controller for the details sent through this website is London Leak Specialist Ltd.

What the website collects

The enquiry form asks for a phone number and a postcode. You may also add a name, an email address, a problem type and a free-text message. The form also records which page of the site you were reading and when you sent it. Emails to us contain whatever you choose to write or attach.

Our hosting provider sees your IP address and browser details when a page is served, which it needs in order to deliver the site and block abuse. Please keep card numbers, passwords and health details out of the form and out of emails.

What we do with it

An enquiry is used to respond to it, which is taking steps at your request. Server logs are used for our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure. Details are not used for advertising and are not sold.

Where an enquiry travels

The form is handled by Cloudflare, which hosts the site. Each enquiry is saved in Cloudflare Workers KV, a storage service, and removed automatically after 180 days. A copy is forwarded to a private Telegram chat used only by our team, which can then respond by phone or email. Email is held by our email provider. Some of these services process data outside the UK.

How long it is kept

The stored form copy is deleted after 180 days. Email and chat copies are kept only as long as the enquiry needs them. Ask us at any point and we will delete an enquiry sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have errors corrected, have your details erased, limit or object to how they are used, or receive them in a portable format. Write to info@londoncylinderspecialist.co.uk. There is no charge, and we reply within one month, after checking who you are. If you are still unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and runs no visitor statistics. If that changes, this page will say so and consent will be asked for before any non-essential cookie is set.

Pages load no third-party frames, maps or embeds. The map on the areas page is a drawing that belongs to this site. The fonts are served from this site.

After you send the form, your phone number and postcode stay in that browser tab’s sessionStorage so the confirmation page can repeat them. The tab also remembers the last page you viewed, so an enquiry can say where it began. Both stay on your device and clear when the tab closes.
